Recent graduates Drs. Michael and Matt Squires ('15) were selected to commission in the US Navy. They begin officer training school July 30th in Rhode Island.
One will be stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and the other in Cherry Point, North Carolina.
Dr. Whitney Jensen (‘12) was quoted in the article entitled, “Optometry’s Advocates” in the March issue of AOA Focus.
Dr. Troy Maydew ('94) was recognized as the 2016 Optometrist of the Year during the Kansas Optometric Association Annual Convention and Seminar in Topeka. This is the highest award an optometrist can receive from the KOA and is in recognition of personal sacrifices to advance the profession and the welfare of the public.
A highlight event for our alumni during the Summer of 2016 was the wedding of two notable and popular alumni: Jenna Osseck ('15) and Steve Branstetter ('13).
